Support the Republican Ticket on Election Day

Although straight ticket voting is a thing of the past, for voters in this upcoming election the best choices can still be found in the Republican column.

Although straight ticket voting is a thing of the past, for voters in this upcoming election the best choices can still be found in the Republican column. Here you will find the candidates who understand that when people are allowed to keep more of what they earn, they will make far better choices as to how that money is spent than government ever could.  Republicans understand that government, much like New Hampshire families, must live within its means and while it may seem like the easy way out, taking on more debt to pay today’s bills and passing on those costs to our children and grandchildren is simply not right.

For President and Vice President, cast your vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to pull us out of the economic stagnation of the past 4 years and to restore America’s strong leadership around the world. For leadership here in New Hampshire, support Ovide Lamontagne for Governor. Ovide has a true prosperity agenda for our state that will make us the magnet for new businesses and new jobs in the Northeast. To represent us in Congress, vote to re-elect Charlie Bass who will continue to fight against excess taxation and regulation at the federal level to promote job growth here at home. Charlie is also a highly effective advocate for the needs of our veterans and senior citizens. For the Executive Council, support Dave Wheeler who will continue to hold the line on excess spending and stand with taxpayers against government waste.

Our Republican State Representatives and State Senator have done an excellent job controlling government spending and balancing the budget with no new taxes, fees, or debt. All of them deserve your vote. But your ballot does not end there. Don’t forget about our Hillsborough County candidates. County Commissioner Carol Holden has represented us well and held the line on spending, keeping our County tax low. She deserves to be re-elected as do Sheriff Jim Hardy, County Attorney Dennis Hogan, and Register of Deeds Pam Coughlin. For County Treasurer, vote for Dave Fredette who previously held this office for 4 terms. He knows the job and will do it well once again. These individuals, along with Joe Kelly Levasseur as Register of Probate will operate a frugal, efficient, and effective Hillsborough County government.

Please support all of our Republican candidates when you go to the polls on November 6th.

And one additional note - Please be aware that despite their claims of being opposed to income or sales taxes NONE of the Democrat candidates for State Representative on your Amherst ballot have taken The Pledge to oppose such taxes. Democrat candidate for Governor Maggie Hassan also has NOT taken The Pledge. Meanwhile, ALL of our Republican candidates have done so. This shows you clearly where they stand on this important issue:
