Join the town of Amherst for its annual Fourth of July Celebration on July 4, 2026.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Wilkins School, located at 80 Boston Post Road, and proceeds through the Historic Village to Town Hall.
The day will feature family-friendly activities on the Village Green, live entertainment, classic cars, decorated floats, children’s activities, local food vendors, artisan demonstrations, and historical exhibits. Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a day of community spirit, hometown pride, and festive fun as Amherst celebrates America’s independence and America’s 250th Anniversary.
