The Amherst Lions Club invites you to nominate your neighbor, friend or colleague as 2026's Amherst Citizen of the Year. These individuals should manifest good citizenship through volunteerism, participation, concern and actions to help make Amherst the great community that it is today. Along with a medal, the winner(s) receive a silver engraved bowl and their name(s) engraved on a plaque in the town hall.

The 51st presentation of this award will be held on 7/4/26 on the Bandstand on the Green following the Amherst Parade.
