Chamber Welcomes Southern NH Health Services Immediate Care

Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the facility recently.

AMHERST, NH – The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed Amherst Family Medicine and Immediate Care to their new building with a ribbon cutting ceremony recently, according to a press statement. Located at 8 Limbo Lane in Amherst, the Immediate Care open to the public. The newly constructed building has been named The Amherst Medical Center.

“ The opening of Amherst Medical Center and addition of Immediate Care is part of Southern New Hampshire Health’s long-term vision to provide access to high-quality care in the communities we serve,” said Mike Rose, CFO, incoming CEO of Southern New Hampshire Health. “Immediate Care sees approximately 50,000 patients annually, and we are excited to expand access into the Amherst Community. “

Immediate Care is open seven days a week, including evenings and offers quick, walk-in care for non-life threatening illnesses or injuries for patients of all ages. Sports physicals along with lab and x-ray are also available at all locations.

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce promotes successful relationships for the business and civic community in the eleven towns of the Souhegan Valley. The Chamber supports economic development and growth, as well as valuable local information and referrals to businesses and the general public.
