Cops Arrest Man Screaming, Flailing His Arms, On Drug Dealing, Possession Charges

Daniel Irving of New Boston was arrested in Manchester Saturday morning allegedly in possession of meth, heroin, needles, and a scale.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local man was arrested Saturday morning on drug charges after allegedly causing a disturbance in the Queen City, according to police. Daniel Irving, 26, of New Boston, was arrested on July 29, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. At around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, an officer in the area of Second and West Hancock streets reportedly saw a man “walking in the roadway while screaming and flailing his arms” who “appeared to be high on a stimulant,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

One of the needles was allegedly filled with an unknown liquid. The officer also allegedly found Irving to be in possession of four bags of methamphetamine, two bags of heroin, a scale, and a spoon.

Irving was arrested and held. He is scheduled to be arraigned today.
