Come explore and celebrate the impact of this amazing, yet irrational number at the first annual Amherst PTA Family Math and Science Night. The festivities will be held in honor of International Pi Day on Monday, March. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Amherst Middle School gym.
Students in grades K through 6, along with their families, are invited to play games based on circles and spheres, draw beautiful hypotochroid artwork, design colorful jewelry using Pi, and learn more about the ubiquitous influence of Pi through other fascinating Math and Science activities.
