HB 1442 would restrict operation of motorcycles in the state that exceed certain noise limits.
An amendment rolling into the House on Wednesday would have the state adopt a new roadside testing procedure that was recently developed by SAE International. Motorcycle enthusiasts and supporters have said that the original bill was too restrictive and impractical.
