Elderly Amherst Man Arrested On Drug, Property Charges: Cop Log

AMHERST, NH — Amos Hoskins, 73, of Amherst, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. on Jan. 20, 2018, on charges of receiving stolen property, transportation of a controlled drug, and hindering apprehension. Hoskins was released on $3,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Feb. 15, 2018, at the Milford District Court.

Derek Fimbel, 28, of Mont Vernon, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. on Jan. 19, 2018, on a charge of criminal mischief. Fimbel was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Feb. 15, 2018, at the Milford District Court.

James Fokas, 24, of Amherst, was arrested at 11 p.m. on Jan. 14, 2018, on a charge of domestic violence-simple assault. Fokas was released on $5,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 18, 2018, at the Milford District Court.
