Enjoy Dinner with Sarah Smiley on Sept. 16
Author is doing event with the Milford nonprofit, The SHARE Center.

Milford nonprofit The SHARE Center, in partnership with Toadstool Bookshop, is hosting author, mother, and military wife Sarah Smiley, as a guest of honor at their weekly community dinner in celebration of the paperback release of Sarah’s memoir, “Dinner with the Smileys.”
The event will be held at The Masonic Lodge, 30 Mont Vernon St. in Milford at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
“Dinner with the Smileys,” which comes out on paperback on the same day, is Sarah’s memoir of her weekly dinners hosting members of her Bangor, Maine, community during the year her Navy Pilot husband was deployed. During the course of the dinners, Sarah and her memoir became an Internet hit on Parade.com, won the American Legion’s Auxiliary Public Spirit Award, and was chosen as the “One Town, One Read” in Monroe, CT.
