Join us on Sunday afternoon August 26th for an opportunity to meet Democratic political candidates for upcoming elections, and enjoy some great food and music under the Pavilion Tent at Amherst Country Club. Speakers will include candidates for U. S. Congress, NH Governor, Governor’s Executive Council, County offices, and the NH State Legislature.
The menu will be a “backyard” BBQ: garden and pasta salads, boneless BBQ chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, cheeseburgers and corn on the cob; plus gtrawberry shortcake for dessert. To go along with the “down home” food, Paul Hodes’ five-piece band, “Northern Light,” will get folks tapping their feet and singing along with their classic repertoire of 60’s and 70’s hit tunes.

Tickets for the Amherst Democrats Barbecue are priced at $40 per person and may be obtained by calling 603-673-6629, or 603-672-2701; sending a check made to “Amherst Democrats” by August 20th to: PO Box 1341, Amherst, NH 30301; or by going on-line at www.amherstnhdemocrats.org.
