Our 20th annual spring musical, Anything Goes, will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 29, 30 and 31. Curtain time is 7PM all three nights. A talented cast of 40+ performers is working hard to perfect the Cole Porter songs, energetic tap dances, and snappy dialogue that characterize this 80's remake of the 30's Broadway classic. Principal roles are held down well by Haley Brannelly as Reno Sweeney, Shauna Sousa as Hope Harcourt, Scott Rogers as Billy Crocker, Isaiah Sylvia-Chandley as the Ships' Captain, Brad Odhner as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Matt Tibbetts as Moonface Martin, Meghan Bedard as Evangeline Harcourt, Emerald Smith as Erma, Griffin Davis as Elisha Whitney, Timmy Saunders as the Ship's Purser and Quincy Raymond as Rev. Henry T. Dobson.
Patricia McMullen and Steve Hodgman are co-directors while Amy McGuigan masterfully handled the challenging choreography. Carl Benevides leads the orchestra, with Kim Frischknecht stage managing and Nathan Kimner as set designer for his Senior Project. Olivia Falkenstein and Patience Deaton control lighting while Andrew Winter and Matt Coppola handle sound. Michelle Withers has lent her professional costuming expertise, and Stan Creighton, who builds sets for the Derryfield School shows, kindly assisted with supervising set construction in Stan St. Onge's absence.
