Fire Reported on Route 101A
WATCH: Stunning video of a four-alarm fire at Amherst Kayak and Canoe near the Merrimack line; traffic is being diverted.

AMHERST, NH - Amherst Fire and Rescue teams were sent to a building fire on Route 101A this afternoon, according to alerts online.
The fire was reported at 114 Route 101A, Amherst Kayak and Canoe, at around 12:30 p.m. on May 9, 2016. A few minutes later, the fire went to two alarms. By 1:30 p.m., the fire was at four alarms.
On Twitter, Merrimack Police warned residents and commuters that traffic is being diverted onto Craftsman Lane.

Merrimack Fire and Rescue teams have also been sent to the community to assist with mutual aid, according to a post on Twitter.
