Forrester Hosts Town Hall Event in Amherst

CONCORD, NH — Republican gubernatorial candidate Jeanie Forrester will be in Amherst, Concord, and Hudson during the next few days. The state Senator will be meeting with voters at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2, 2016, at her "Get The Straight Scoop" Meeting at the Amherst Town Library, 14 Main St. in Amherst.

At 11 a.m. on Aug. 3, she will sign the Americans for Prosperity NH Pledge at The Barley House, 132 N. Main St. in Concord.

At 2 p.m., she will tour Integra Bioscience in Hudson.

At 7 p.m. on Aug. 3, she will hold another "Get The Straight Scoop" Meeting at the Hudson VFW Post 5791, 15 Bockes Road in Hudson.

According to the campaign, Forrester is in her third term representing District 2. She is a resident of Meredith located in the state's scenic Lakes Region and has served in the senate since she was first elected in 2010. For the 2015-2016 legislative session, she serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and is also on the Capital Budget Committee.

She and her husband Keith own a small environmental technology company. She has also served in Town Administrator positions in Tuftonboro and New Durham. More recently, she served as the Executive Director for two award-winning Main Street programs in Plymouth and Meredith, where she helped create jobs and economic prosperity by attracting new businesses and new development.
