Competitive races for select board, ZBA, checklist; will voters choose a $12.9M or $12.6M town budget? A $24.6M school budget or $24.2M?

AMHERST, NH - Town and school elections in Amherst will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Souhegan High School, 412 Boston Post Road. Polls

Along with competitive races for Board of Selectmen, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Supervisor of the Checklist, voters will choose between either a $12,896,109 town budget or a $12,596,564 default budget. Voters also have a number of town warrant articles. Voters will also choose between a $24,597,380 school budget or a $24,172,572 default school budget.
