All donations are tax-deductible and every penny is used towards Kitty Angels, who will have the little felines available for adoption on site. The no-kill shelter is dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats, furnishing them with treatment for injuries or other health problems, and placing them into life-long, loving homes with compatible owners.
Treasures co-owner Sherri Tobin said that they have been supporting Kitty Angels for the past 18 years. This loving organization is made up of volunteers who will stop at nothing to give a kitty a second chance.

“They do it out of the kindness of their hearts,” said Tobin. “It is a lucky cat that gets picked up by Kitty Angels.”
The theme of the event this year is “The Power of Angels,” which represents the people that care for these abandoned animals. These cats are often sick, injured and abused and are even found in dumpsters.
“It is heart-wrenching to see these pictures and know how people will abuse and neglect these cats,” said Tobin.
have owned many cats, and have found a good number of these furry friends at Kitty Angels. They first adopted Kameo Angel, a rescued dumpster cat, who became a fixture at their business for 14 years before he died of kidney failure.
They want others to adopt these little angels and give them the lives they deserve, and in turn the cats return their love. Kitty Angels cares for about 600 cats between the shelter and foster homes.
Rick Tobin said that they support the shelter year-round and always welcome donations of food, supplies or money for the organization. They raised over $5,000 at last year’s fundraiser and hope to go beyond that number this year.
