
Google has named Amherst the "digital capital" of New Hampshire, according to New Hampshire Business Review.
The purpose of eCity awards was to highlight Google's local economic impact in all 50 U.S. states, plus Washington, D.C. The rankings were based largely on how much businesses in each community spend on Google ads and surveys with local businesses.
Google said Amherst is "a New Hampshire gem" that has "moved into the future with a digitally savvy business community that connects with customers to grow awareness and commerce."
