The Heaviest Snow is on Its Way
Forecasters say that the storm is going to last through early Tuesday morning; very cold temps descend upon the state after that.

The early February snowstorm, nicknamed Marcus, has reached its halfway point, according to meteorologists, but the heaviest part of the storm has yet to hit.
AccuWeather.com is reporting that while New Hampshire has only seen light snow at this point, the “heavier and steadier” snow will hit the region on Monday and last through Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service reported around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2015, that everyone should expect a long duration of snowfall with the majority of snow tapering off on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Up to 18 inches of snow is expected in Exeter, Hampton, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Salem, and Windham. Other areas of the state, including Amherst, Bedford, Concord, Londonderry, Merrimack, and Milford, should continue to expect as much as 14 inches of snow.
About five to six inches has fallen across most of the state at this point in the storm.

Expect temperatures to run from the single digits to the upper teens during the course of the storm.
Roads will remain slippery causing traffic issues in Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Rockingham counties on Monday while piles of snow will create visibility issues. The heaviest snow falling on top of already snow covered roofs will also cause problems.
After this system moves out, a “polar plunge” will deliver the coldest air this winter to the region later this week.
