Hike! Super Bowl to Air for DirecTV Customers

DirecTV and the SunBeam Television Corporation resolved a contract dispute today, ensuring New Hampshire DirecTV subscribers will be able to watch the Super Bowl.

The dispute has blacked out NBC on WHBH – the local NBC affiliate – since Jan. 14. That blackout is now lifted. NBC is airing the Super Bowl.

“I am thrilled that Patriots fans across New Hampshire will be able to watch the big game," Shaheen said in a statement today. This was important news not only for the fans, but also for businesses that rely on broadcasting the Super Bowl to bring in patrons and revenue.

"I applaud both parties for coming to an agreement so that subscribers can enjoy the services they paid for and focus on what matters: cheering on the Pats."
