IMAGE GALLERY: AMS Students Featured in Scholastic Art Exhibit

There is definitely some artistic talent brewing at Amherst Middle School.

Winners and honorable mentions of the 2012 AMS Scholastic Art Awards have their works featured in an exhibit at the Pinkerton Academy in Derry.

The following artworks are exhibited at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy until Saturday, Feb. 4:

Gold Key:    Abigail  Fitzgerald grade 8, printmaking , The Girl with The Golden Eyes  

Silver Key:   Sienna Langone grade 7, drawing, A Tear for Every Word

Honorable Mention: Erica Chareth grade 8, photography,  Remember The Veterans 

Honorable Mention:  Victoria Dyer grade 8, design, Nantucket Memories

Honorable Mention: Cullen Burke grade 7, sculpture,  Idyllicy 

Honorable Mention:  Kaylee Gallagher grade 8 , design,School Bus   

Honorable Mention:  Kayla Roberts grade 8, drawing, Dahvie Vanity 

The gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  

In addition, the following works of art from a variety of media were chosen by Mrs. Rachel Rouillard and Mrs. Marilyn Barry to represent Amherst Middle School for the adjudication of the 2012 Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire competition. Their artwork can be seen here.
