Huntsman, Roemer to Attend GOP Picnic

GOP normally stands for “Grand Old Party,” but this weekend it stands for “Grand Outdoor Picnic” as local Republicans celebrate New Hampshire’s presidential primary.

The Amherst and Milford Town Committees are hosting a picnic event at Keyes Memorial Field in Milford on Saturday, September 24 from noon until 3 p.m.

Presidential candidates Jon Huntsman and Buddy Roemer are scheduled to attend the afternoon BBQ.

Tickets cost $10 for all you can eat and kids 12 and under get in for free. Proceeds from the event will benefit both the Milford and Amherst Town Committees.
