Kuster Delivers 'Holiday Cards for Heroes' of New Hampshire Veterans Home
The cards were made by students in the 2nd Congressional District.

U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, delivered student-made holiday cards to residents of the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton on Dec. 18, as a way of thanking them for their service to our country.
Kuster delivered the cards as part of her second annual “Holiday Cards for Heroes” Drive; through this program, Kuster partners with local schools to help New Hampshire students make holiday cards for New Hampshire veterans.
“I was so honored to get a chance to visit the New Hampshire Veterans Home, where I handed out lovely holiday cards made by local New Hampshire students and visited with the courageous veterans who reside there. Our veterans sacrificed so much to protect the rest of us, and I’m happy to have the opportunity to give a small token of our appreciation back to them,” said Kuster. “I’m proud that so many students helped spread holiday cheer to these men and women who bravely served our country. During the holidays, it is inspirational to see our young people showing such generosity of spirit, and commitment to honoring our state’s veterans.”
