LAPD Trains Local Police In SWAT
They used a house on Boston Post Road for their training missions this afternoon.
A passing driver may mistake this scene for an actual house raid, but it is all just a drill.
LAPD officers lead local police into an abandoned Boston Post Road home to train them in SWAT procedures.
Officers in full gear stormed into the empty building, breaking in windows and setting off a small explosion, in a scene that looked much like an actual raid.

This afternoon's training had police officers from Hudson, Londonderry, Peterborough, Massachusetts and Vermont performing the practice operations.
The property is owned by the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, who will be turning it into an expanded parking lot later this summer. He said the practice building has been slated for demolition later this summer

Property Manager Patrick Mitchell said that the abandoned building will be used for training over the next few weeks for police and fire personnel. He said neighboring residents and businesses were notified of the training beforehand to prevent panic.
