Learning More Together To Address Special Needs

The Department of Special Instructional Services will hold a presentation designed for parents and educators of students with special needs.

The SAU #39 school district wants teachers and parents to work together to provide the best education for students who need a little more.

Trained members of the NH Parent Information Center will conduct a presentation called "Parents and Professionals - Partners in the Process," according to information from Director of Special Instructional Services Renee Sparks.

The meeting will be held during two different times on Monday, Nov. 28. The first session will take place from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. and the second will go from 6 until 8 p.m.

This presentation is the first in a series of presentations specifically designed for parents and educators of students accessing special education of Section 504 plan services in the school district.

Information on the special education process will also be provided for those in attendance to take home. They can also be found at www.sprise.com.
