Local Service Biz Expands To New Location

An Amherst business has been able to grow in its new home on Route 101.

Service Experts, a flooring and rug company, moved into the vacant space next to Earth & Tree last month.

Owner Randy Norwalt said that he has been in business for 23 years, but now has a space to sell carpet and flooring products. He has been selling products out of his van for a while, but can now expand his selection.

He said that he decided to move his business this year because a good deal on the property had come up.

Norwalt wants to provide a local alternative to the large home furnishing companies, such as Home Depot and Lowes.

“By going to them, customers are just passing their money off to the corporation,” he said. “Local installers are missing out on profit margin.”

His focus is to keep local customers happy with personal service and attention. Service Experts offers its services in Bedford, Merrimack, Nashua and surrounding communities.

Norwalt said he offers the “best quality” products in his showroom and offers quality installation for life.
