Local Democrats Organize For Hassan

Maggie Hassan for Governor launched the campaign’s Hillsborough County Steering Committee last week.

The list of public supporters for Hassan includes Amherst's Town Democratic Chairman John David and Democratic Party leader Howard Morse.

The group will be chaired by longtime Democratic activists Bette Lasky, a former state senator from Nashua and Will Kanteres, a businessman from Manchester.  

“A strong campaign organization in Hillsborough County is a crucial to our efforts,” said Hassan.  “I know that with this impressive group led by Bette and Will we are in a strong position to win. I look forward to working with this team to continue to grow our steering committee and earn support in Hillsborough County and across New Hampshire.”

“Maggie Hassan is the real deal and I’m thrilled to support her campaign,” said Kanteres. “She has already built a solid foundation in Manchester that I am excited to help build upon.”

“Having served with her in the Senate, I know Maggie will make an outstanding governor,” said Lasky. “I’m thrilled to take on this role in her campaign and help build her support in Nashua and Hillsborough County.”
