Lyme Disease Program on Oct. 21

Debunking the Myths and Misinformation Surrounding Lyme Disease will be the topic of a program on Lyme Disease given by David Hunter.

The Amherst Garden Club and Amherst Recreation will jointly sponsor an evening program featuring David Hunter. His topic, “Debunking the Myths and Misinformation Surround Lyme Disease” will take place Tuesday, October 21, at 7:00 pm at Souhegan High School’s theater, Amherst, NH.

David Hunter is the chairman of the Bedford (NH) Lyme Disease Council and founder of the Greater Manchester Lyme Disease Support Group, as well as facilitator for the NH Lyme Disease Support Group for Teens. Teachers, coaches, gardeners, hikers, dog owners and really anyone who enjoys being outside, should attend and get a better understanding of the issues and problems facing those with the disease. In 2010, David was featured on WMUR-TV Chronicle program entitled, Lyme: New Hampshire’s Exploding Epidemic.
