Maggie Hassan To Speak At Potluck Supper Tonight
The gubernatorial candidate will be at the Congregational Church of Amherst for the Amherst Democrats event.

Former NH State Senate Majority Leader Maggie Hassan will be stopping by Amherst tonight to share her views on current issues facing the legislature and her prospective goals as NH governor.
The Democrat to run for Governor Lynch's seat last month, which currently pits her against Republican .
She will be speaking at the tonight, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Amherst.

Those wishing to join the dinner should bring a dish (appetizer, entrée, salad, or dessert) to share.
Hassan will be speaking at 7 p.m., which will be followed by a discussion period.

During her six years in the NH Senate, Hassan has served on a number of committees, and was active introducing legislation promoting economic development, conservation (the RGGI plan, and Great Bay Watershed initiative), anti-bullying laws, and mandating broader health insurance coverage for mental illness in New Hampshire.
