Manchester Woman Killed In Amherst DUI Car Crash: PD
Sierra Croteau, 21, of Manchester, was killed Friday in a two-vehicle accident in Amherst.

AMHERST, NH — A Manchester woman was killed Friday in a two-vehicle accident in Amherst. Sierra Croteau, 21, of Manchester, was pronounced dead at the scene after p0lice responded to the crash around 11:30 p.m. The driver of the other vehicle, Tyler Berry, 27, of Amherst, was seriously injured and was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police say the accident happened as Berry was driving a GMC pickup truck west on Route 101 when he crossed the yellow center line, striking the Hyundai Santa Fe Croteau was driving head-on. Croteau was pronounced dead on the scene, and Berry was transported to Catholic Medical Center with serious injuries. At the hospital police arrested him on felony DUI.
Route 101 in the area of Manchester Street was closed to traffic for about five hours as members of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit investigated the scene. Assisting on scene were also members of Amherst police, State Police Troop B, and Amherst Fire and EMS.

Amherst police say that although Berry's impairment appears to be a factor in the crash, the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with further information on the incident is asked to contact State Police by calling 603-223-8677 or emailing Bryan.Plamondon@dos.nh.gov.
