Marshals Find this Week's Fugitive

Nicole Wells was previously convicted of distribution of cocaine.

This week’s Fugitive of the Week was found earlier today in Manchester, according to a press statement.

Nicole Wells, 34, unknown address, was wanted by the U.S. District Court for supervised release violations stemming from an original conviction of distribution of cocaine in 2008. The warrant was issued on Feb. 17, and Wells was to be featured for this week’s Fugitive of the Week, usually published by most media outlets on Wednesday.

Wells, who also goes by the name of Nicole Giggey, Nicole Giggy, and Nikki Wells, was last known to live in Manchester.

As part of the ongoing investigation into her whereabouts, marshals had received several leads. This morning, investigators were led to an apartment on Grove Street in Manchester.

“After knocking and announcing that it was the police, the door was opened by Wells, who said, ‘Here I am,’ and was taken into custody without incident,” according to Jeffrey White, a Deputy U.S. Marshal.

Wells was taken to court and held without bail.

Several member agencies of the N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force made this arrest possible, including the Manchester Police Department, the Belknap, Hillsborough and Strafford County Sheriff’s Offices along with deputy U.S. Marshals.
