Update: Marshals Catch Synthetic Narcotics Perp
Hayley Laplant/Moore failed to appear in court; was arrested in Gilford.

Update, 4:15 p.m.
The U.S. Marshals just issued the following statement:
Members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office were in Gilford, NH following up on a tip that was received earlier today, when Laplant herself contacted the U.S. Marshals. Laplant indicated that she was unaware of the arrest warrant and confirmed her location on Dockham Shore Road in Gilford. Deputies from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office went to this location, where Laplant was taken into custody without any incident. Laplant was transported to the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office for processing on her outstanding arrest warrant. Due to Laplant’s surrender, she will likely be bailed and given a court date in the near future.

Laplant, who also goes by the name of Hayley Moore, previously was last known to live in the Lakes Region where “she has significant ties to family and friends,” according to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White.
According to online reports, Laplant was arrested in August of last year by state troopers for DWI and conduct after an accident. In 2013, she lost her license due to DWI.
Marshals are asking anyone who may have seen Laplant to call them at 603-225-1632 or their local police department.
