McCormick Named Souhegan Baseball Player of the Week

Robby McCormick was named the Souhegan Baseball Player of the Week.

Each week, the Souhegan baseball team names a Player of the Week. In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practice and games, the individual is a role model on and off the field. McCormick, a senior, si the sixth Player of the Week for the 2012 season.

He is a pitcher and plays Right Field.

During the past week, McCormick batted .333 (2 for 6) and scored two runs. On Wednesday, he shut out John Stark, allowing only two hits while striking out seven and walking two. He "brings a positive approach to all he does and this up-beat attitude spreads through the team."
