McCormick Shuts Down John Stark Generals
Robby McCormick's pitching skills gave the Souhegan Sabers a 7-0 win on Wednesday.

The Souhegan Sabers baseball team defeated the John Stark Generals 7 to 0. The victory was the fourth of the season ... against one loss.
Senior, righty Robby McCormick threw a complete game (75 pitches) giving up two singles, struck out seven and walked two in the winning effort.

The Sabers played errorless in the field with strong performances from Tim Beliveau (first), Tyler Ford (second) and Terry Dugdale (shortstop) in the infield and outfielders Eric Howard (left), Chris Chininis (center) and Tyler Hansis (right).
In the bottom of the first, Tyler Ford walked and went to third on an missed pick off attempt. Robert Graham sacrifice fly plated Tyler Ford with what proved to be the game winning rbi.

In the second, Souhegan scored five runs on consecutive walks to Terry Dugdale, Seth Learned, Tim Beliveau and Tyler Hansis and a two run rbi single from Eric Howard, a Tyler Ford rbi sacrifice fly and a first and third balk. In the fifth inning, Robby McCormick doubled and scored on a Seth Learned rbi single to up the score to 7 to 0.
The Sabers will travel to Portsmouth on Friday. The Portsmouth Clippers have an active 88 game win streak, a national record.
