More Egging Incidents Reported in Amherst: Log

Police: Other vandalism incidents report; Manchester and Maynard, MA, men arrested on driving charges.

AMHERST, NH — Between Aug. 25, and Aug. 31, 2016, the Amherst Police Department investigated more reported egging that occurred throughout town.

On Aug. 25, the Amherst Police Department investigated two reports of criminal mischief which occurred in the Bloody Brook Road area. A child’s swing, as well as a plastic symbol, were spray painted.

On Aug. 28, the Amherst Police Department investigated a report of Criminal Mischief which occurred on Lake Front Avenue sometime between Aug. 26, and Aug. 28. A gas tank on a vehicle was tampered with.

Scott McAuliffe, 53, of Maynard, MA, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2016, on charges of disobeying a police officer and driving after suspension. McAuliffe was released on $1,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 15, 2016, at the Milford District Court.

Joseph Lamesa, 26, of Manchester, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2016, on charges of driving after suspension and unregistered motor vehicle. Lamesa was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 22, 2016, at the Milford District Court.

Nicholas Roberts, 20, of North Attleborough, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Roberts was released on $400 PR bail, with a court date set for Sept. 22, 2016, at the Milford District Court.

At 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, the Amherst Police Department detained a juvenile on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Court action is anticipated.
