Get ready for some really nice temperatures before the rain returns: forecasters.

Warm air from the south is about to head to the Northeast with temperatures reaching the middle 60s, according to the NWS and AccuWeather.com. Meteorologists are saying the weather may catch “spring fever,” and be anywhere from 15 to 30 degrees above normal for this time of the year. Does it spell the end of winter? Tonight: Clouds and a light breeze with temps in the low 20s.

Monday: Cloudy with highs in the upper 40s and a light wind. Temps will drop down into the 30s during the evening.
Tuesday: Partly sunny skies with highs reaching the mid-50s in some parts of the state. Temps will be in the middle 30s during the evening.
Wednesday: Call it the Wednesday warm up – temperatures reaching the mid-60s with partly sunny skies and lows in the upper 40s.
Thursday: Showers are expected to return with temps in the upper 50s. The rain will continue into the evening with lows in the 30s.
