Organizing for America Volunteers in Amherst for 'Day of Action'

OFA New Hampshire is holding events across the state on Sunday, Nov. 6 in honor of next year's election on the same day.

Volunteers will be looking to energize democratic voters this Sunday.

OFA New Hampshire (OFA-NH), President Obama's grassroots organization will be holding events across the Granite State this weekend for its Day of Action.

This Sunday marks "one year out" from Election Day 2012, and volunteers will be mobilizing to get the word out about the President and the importance of the election next year.

Organizing for America New Hampshire has remained a permanent part of New Hampshire since 2008 and is a state-based, grassroots organization committed to re-electing President Obama and boosting Democrats statewide through voter registration, voter education and field organizing efforts.

Volunteers will be going door-to-door in Amherst after meeting at the Amherst Town Library at noon on Sunday, Nov. 6.

They will also be mobilizing in Claremont, Concord, Durham, Epsom, Exeter, Hampton, Hudson, Hanover, Keene, Kingston, Laocnia, Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth, Peterborough and Wolfeboro.
