POLICE & FIRE LOG: DWI and Criminal Mischief

[Monday, Nov. 7]

At 3:01 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Thornton Ferry I Road for a reported CO detector activation.

At 4:05 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Caldwell Drive for a reported fire alarm activation.

[Tuesday, November 8]

At 2 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Nathan J. Cable, 21, of 218 Beech Street, Manchester on a charge of Driving After Suspension. Cable was released on $5000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Derek Baker, 27, of 21 Surry Lane, Pelham on a charge of Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor. Baker was released on $1200 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 2:16 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Arnold Denis, 21, of 32 Ashley Drive, Milford on a charge of Criminal Mischief. Denis was released on $2500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 5:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Blake Connell, 16, of Merrimack  and Kathryn Zane, 61, of Amherst.

At 7:59 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Ponemah Road for a reported fire alarm activation.

At 8:32 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Luis F. Roldan Ortega, 20, of 344 Elm Street #36, Milford on a charge of Criminal Liability for the Conduct of Another. Roldan Ortega was released on $2500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Wednesday, Nov. 9]

At 9:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. the drivers were Jennifer Heppe, 18, of Milford  and Samuel Saunders, 47, of Amherst.

At 5:09 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer). No injuries were reported. The driver was William Bossert, 74, of Peterborough.

At 5:20 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 122 @ Merrimack Road. The drivers were Emily Morley, 33, of Amherst and Karen Blood, 38, of Amherst. A passenger in the Morley’s car was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries.

At 6:11 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101A (car v. deer). No injuries were reported. The driver was Keith Thompson, 62, of Amherst.
