POLICE/FIRE LOG: Woman Arrested For DWI

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Friday, Feb. 24]

At 7:05 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Mack Hill Road. Minor injuries were reported. The driver was Kelsey Aten, 16, of Amherst.

At 7:05 a.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Mack Hill Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with injury.

At 1:59 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jason A. Dessureault, 30, of 375 Boston Post Road, Amherst on an active arrest warrant issued by the Londonderry Police Department. Dessureault was released to the custody of Londonderry police.

At 2:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Mack Hill Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Benjamin Ehrlich, 16, of Amherst.

At 9:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jean E. Morin, 37, of 26 Ashton Place, Greenville on a charge of driving after suspension, as well as on an active bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Morin was released on $1,800 personal recognizance bail on the Amherst charge, with an arraignment date set for March 15, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

At 9:40 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Debra Babb, 49, of 9 Elizabeth Drive, Merrimack on charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest. Babb was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 15, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, Feb. 25]

At 1:25 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Timothy Beliveau, 18, of 15 Beaver Brook Circle, Amherst on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Beliveau was released on $400 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 15, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

At 9:28 a.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Terrace Lane for a reported C O detector activation.

At 3:07 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Daniel Decato, 52, of Nashua and Kerry Duerig, 30, of Peterborough.

[Sunday, Feb. 26]

At 8:40 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Nicole J. Taft, 40, of 22 S. Woodbound Road #1, Rindge on a charge of driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. Taft was released on $200 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for March 15, 2012 in the Milford District Court.
