POLICE & FIRE LOG: Multiple Accidents, DWI Arrest
Weekend log for the Amherst Police and Fire Departments.

[Friday, August 12]
The Amherst Police Department investigated a report of Conduct After an Accident which occurred on Clark Ave this same date between 11:30 am and 12 pm.
[Saturday, August 13]
At 4:55 pm, the Amherst Fire Department responded to UPHAM RD for a reported fire alarm activation.
At 9:28 pm, the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The driver was Peter Caulo, 49, of Amherst, NH
Mr. Caulo was charged with Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor.
At 9:50 pm, the Amherst Police Department arrested Peter J. Caulo, 49, of 91 Boston Post Road, Amherst, NH on a charge of Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor. Caulo was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for September 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.
At 11:06 pm, the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Mont Vernon Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Lydia Tilsley, 46, of Mont Vernon, NH.
[Sunday, August 14]
At 6:10 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Anthony D. Capes, 22, of 25 Foster Street, Keene, NH on a charge of Driving After Suspension, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Keene District Court. Capes was released on $1000 PR bail on the Amherst charge, with an arraignment date set for September 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.
[Monday, August 15]
At 12:40 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Melanie C. Stringer, 39, of 1055 Belmont Street, Manchester, NH on charges of Driving After Suspension and Driving After Suspension of Registration of Vehicle. Stringer was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for September 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.
