POLICE & FIRE LOG: Multiple Drug Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department and Amherst Fire Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Friday, August 19]
At 9:48 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Cameron Paul McDonough, 29, of 36 Back River Road, Bedford, NH on charges of Driving After Suspension, Default of Breach of Bail Conditions, Possession of a Controlled Drug, and Transportation of a Controlled Drug. McDonough was arraigned in the Goffstown District Court this same date.

[Saturday, August 20]

At 2:15 am, the Amherst Police Department arrested Ian Coulter, 19, of 23 Cricket Corner Road, Amherst, NH on charges of Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, Transportation of Alcoholic Beverages by a Minor, Possession of a Controlled Drug and Transportation of a Controlled Drug, Coulter was released on $1000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for September 15, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 11 am, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Horace Greeley Road @ Austin Road. No injuries were reported. The first driver involved was Steven Hartwell, 48, of Wilton, NH and the other driver was Steven Coyne, 19, of Weare, NH.

At 5:56 pm, the Amherst Police Department arrested Zeth M. Corron, 24, of 26 Melendy Road, Milford, NH on a bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Corron was held in lieu of $500 cash bail, and will be arraigned in the Milford District Court on August 22, 2011.

At 5:56 pm the Amherst Police Department arrested Brendon J. Corron, 29, of 175 Westchester Drive, Milford, NH on a charge of Transportation of a Controlled Drug. Corron was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for September 15, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 6:30 pm, the Amherst Police Department arrested Elizabeth M. Melanson, 23, of 83 Ruonala Road, Milford, NH on charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug, Forgery and Willful Concealment. Melanson was held in lieu of $2500 cash bail, and will be arraigned in the Milford District Court on August 22, 2011.

At 3:45 pm, the Amherst Fire Department responded to The FLume for a reported fire alarm activation.
