POLICE/FIRE LOG: Arrests for Shoplifting

[Monday, Nov. 14]

At 7:40 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A at Route 122. The drivers were Ross Gavin, 27, of Townsend, MA and Edith Leblanc, 42, of Lunenburg, MA. Ms. Leblanc was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries.

[Tuesday, Nov. 15]

At 12:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jason A. Dessureault, 29, of 375 Boston Post Road, Amherst on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Jaffrey-Peterborough District Court. Bail was set at $1000 PR, and no further action is anticipated by the Amherst Police Department.

[Thursday, Nov. 17]

At 2:46 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Brook Road for a reported CO detector activation.

[Friday, Nov. 18]

At 2:10 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Benjamin Daniels, 19, of 529 Nashua Street #222, Milford on a charge of Driving After Suspension. Daniels was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 2:14 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kevin Elliott, 19, of 5 Friar Tuck Lane, Nashua on a charge of Violation of a Protective Order. Bail was set at $5000 PR, with a court date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 11:31 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Wanda Marylee Garcia, 44, of 125 Concord Street #A, Nashua on a charge of Shoplifting. Garcia was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 8, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, Nov. 19]

At 12:49 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Nichols Road for a reported odor of smoke or smoke seen in the area.
