POLICE LOG: Amherst Man Arrested For Aggravated DWI And Drug Charges

[Friday, Oct. 5]

At 1:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mark R. Lacourse, 48, of 464 Boston Post Road #33, Amherst on a charge of simple assault. Lacourse was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 8:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101 at Camp Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Victoria Cotugno, 25, of New Boston and Edward Crowley, 36, of Merrimack.

[Saturday, Oct. 6]

At 8:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Matthew A. Thatcher, 30, of 10 Trevor Court, Milford on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Hampton District Court.  Bail was set at $300 cash, and no further action is anticipated by the Amherst Police Department.

At 10:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Darryl Scott Bisson, 47, of 20 Walker Street, Milford on a charge of DWI. Bisson was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Oct. 7]

At 3:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to single vehicle accident on Merrimack Road. The driver was unknown.

At 12:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Dennis E. Robbins, Jr. 42, of 373 Monadnock Hwy, Swanzey on charges of driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. Robbins was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 7:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Steven Robert Zenke, 21, of 17 Baboosic Lake Road, Amherst on charges of aggravated DWI, possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. Zenke was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Tuesday, Oct. 9]

At 3:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Corduroy Road at Merrimack Road.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Angela Tomasian, 69, of Merrimack and Sara Martina, 53, of Amherst.

[Thursday, Oct. 11]

At 1:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Thomas Bence, 49, of 199 Manchester Street, Manchester on a charge of Shoplifting.  Bence was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 25, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
