The Amherst Police Department investigated a reported Burglary which occurred on Caldwell Drive sometime during the overnight hours. Cash was taken.

At 12:11 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Colin J. Frain, 25, of 265 Blevens Drive, Manchester, NH on a charge of Theft. Frain was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on October 20, 2011.

On September 21, 2011 at 1:25 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Craig E. Rochette, 25, of 42 Worcester Street #3, Nashua, NH on a charge of Second Degree Assault. Rochette was held in lieu of bail, and will be arraigned later this date.
