POLICE LOG: July 20 through July 25

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Wednesday, July 20]

At 9:55 am, James Paul Demers, 51, of 39 Embankment Road, Amherst, NH  was arrested on a Non-Support Order of Arrest issued by the 9th Circuit Family Division Court in Manchester. Demers was released on $1500 cash bail, and no further action is anticipated by police.

At 12:13 pm, the Amherst Police Department responded to a two car accident in the parking lot of Amherst Ciao’s Pizza. No injuries were reported. The driver was Erol Duymazlar, 46, of Hollis, NH, who had hit a parked vehicle.

[Thursday, July 21]

At 5:51 pm, police responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer). Minor injuries reported. The driver was Lucy Lavoie, 53, of Milford, NH.

At 8:59 pm, Bruno M. Ferreira, 21, of 29 Congress Street #7, Nashua, NH was arrested on charges of Disobeying a Police Officer, Reckless Operation and Operating without a Valid License. Ferreira was released on $3,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Friday, July 22]

At 3:10 am, Keller F. Nunley, 18, of 54 Ponemah Road, Amherst, NH was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Transportation of a Controlled Drug. Nunley was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for July 28, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 3:10 am, Emily C. Payrits, 17, of 2 Belleview Drive, Amherst, NH was arrested on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug. Payrits was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 9:35 am, Jeanine M. Demers, 29, of 40 Walnut Hill Road, Amherst, NH was arrested on a Contempt Capias issued by 9th Circuit Family Division Court in Manchester. Demers was released to the custody of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department.

At 4:41 pm, police responded to a 2 car accident on County Road. No injuries were reported. The accident involved Erin Freeman, 19, of Hollis, NH and Andrew Middleton, 56, of Goffstown, NH.

At 10:50 pm, George Noukas, 28, of 22 Country Club Drive #23, Manchester, NH was arrested on a charge of Driving After Suspension. Noukas was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, July 23]

At 1:17 am, Anthony W. Thomas, age 19, of 17 Walsh Avenue #1, Manchester, NH was arrested on charges of Driving After Suspension and Driving After Suspension of Registration of Vehicle. Thomas was released on $1000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 7:45 pm, Brittany Boehm, age 19, of 130 Ball Hill Road, Milford, NH was arrested on a charge of Shoplifting. Boehm was released on $300 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for August 18, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, July 24]

Police investigated a report of Criminal Tresspass and Criminal Mischief which occurred on Mack Hill Road that day at about 4 pm. A gate was damaged.
