POLICE LOG: Lowell Man Attempts Robbery

[Monday, Jan. 23)

At 8:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Camden M. Jadis,  22, of 32 Scott Road, Wilton, NH on a charge of Habitual Offender. Jadis was released on $2,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Feb. 9, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

[Tuesday, Jan. 24]

At 10:17 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two car accident in the Amherst Crossing parking lot. No injuries were reported. The driver was Fred Roedel, 79, of Wilton, who had hit a parked vehicle.

At 2:06 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two car accident in the First Colebrook Bank parking lot. No injuries were reported. The driver was Dylan King, 20, of Brookline, who had hit a parked vehicle.

[Wednesday, Jan. 25]

At 12:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Denise Welch, 45, of 23 Reed Street #2, Lowell, MA on a charge of Attempt to Commit Robbery. Welch was released on $3500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Feb. 9, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

At 1:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Alan John North, 30, of 98 Powers Street #224, Milford, NH on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug, as well as on an active arrest warrant issued by the Milford Police Department. North was released on $500 PR bail on the Amherst charge, with an arraignment date set for Feb. 9, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

At 5:59 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two car accident at the exit to the Walmart Superstore. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Sanjay Shendye, 51, of Nashua and Tamara Shoults, 47, of Brookline.

[Thursday, Jan. 26]

At 12:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Robert Hawley, 22, of 29 Capron Road #67, Milford, NH on charges of Disobeying a Police Officer, Reckless Operation and Habitual Offender. Hawley was held in lieu of $5000 cash bail, with an arraignment date set Jan. 26, 2012 in the Milford District Court.
