POLICE LOG: Nashua Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

[Saturday, June 2]
The Amherst Police Department arrested Jason Kayata, 19, of 10 Tenby Drive, Nashua on charges of transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled Drug. Kayata was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 14, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 10:11 a.m., the Amherst Police Department investigated a two-car accident which occurred in the Souhegan High School parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Patricia Poisson, 48, of Brookline and Heather Smith, 39, of Amherst.

At 11:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Cory Pierce, 21, of 23 East Lake Road #2, Fitzwilliam on charges of DWI, transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug. Pierce was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 14, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 12:05 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Sheldon Barrett, 21, of 80 Monadnock Street, Troy on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Barrett was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 14, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
At 1:53 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Travis Cox, 36, of 15 Baker Avenue, Greenville on a charge of willful concealment. Cox was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for June 14, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
