POLICE LOG: Resisting Arrest

[Thursday, Nov. 3]

At 7:15 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Stearns Road. Minor injuries were reported. The drivers were Diane Ouellette, 50, of Amherst and Ryan Peterson, 17, of Amherst.

At 8:33 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Ponemah Road. The drivers were Michael Proulx, 44, of Bedford and Nickolas Hanson, 33, of Nashua.

At 3:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101. No injuries were reported. The drivers were David Beaulieu, 58, of Amherst and an unknown driver.

At 8:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident in the parking lot of the Homestead. No injuries were reported. The driver was Peter Pierce, 51, of Amherst, who had hit a parked vehicle.

At 10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101. No injuries were reported. The driver was Donna Bogle, 40, of Manchester.

At 3:55 p.m., the Amherst Police Department detained a juvenile on a Shoplifting charge. Court action is anticipated.

At 3:57 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jeremy Michael Slater, 32, of 20 Westray Road, Nashua on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Nashua District Court. Slater was released on $2500 PR bail, with a court date set for Nov. 9, 2011 in the Nashua District Court.

At 8:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mursal A. Mohamed, 25, of 397 Cedar Street, Manchester on a charge of Driving After Suspension, as well as on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Manchester District Court. Mohamed was released on $400 PR bail on the Amherst charge, with a court date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, Nov. 5]

At 3:05 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident in the Walmart parking Lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Joni Somero, 23, of New Ipswich and Alyssa Bennet, 16, of Merrimack.

At 6:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Akhil Verma, 37, of Fremont, CA and Diane Wilusz, 49, of Merrimack.

At 9:02 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Mitchell J. D. Thatcher, 18, of 70 Averill Road, Brookline on a charge of Transportation of a Controlled Drug. Thatcher was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 9:02 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John F. Fitzmaurice, 17, of 11 Westview Road, Brookline on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug. Fitzmaurice was released on $400 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for December 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 10 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Troy Michael Simpson, 18, of 191 Ball Hill Road, Milford on charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Transportation of a Controlled Drug. Simpson was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 11:04 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Starr Eileen Durand, 18, of 529 Nashua Street #38, Milford on a charge of Driving After Suspension. Durand was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Nov. 6]

At 12:36 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Anthony G. Moore, 23, of 179 Chestnut Street, Nashua on a charge of Resisting Arrest. Moore was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 1, 2011 in the Milford District Court.

At 8:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Ty Ignaszewski, 49, of Amherst and Bradley Bates, 46, of Milford.
