Report: Jet Fighters Performing Training Across NH
Low altitude flights between Massachusetts and the Connecticut Valley may cause some noise. Note: It's just a drill.
The 104th Fighter Wing out of Massachusetts is holding drills around the region today, according to a story on WMUR-TV.
Residents are being warned that if they see fighter jets - specifically, F-15s - and hear them flying low around Lebanon and Manchester, from Massachusetts, it’s just a drill. According to the report, the fighters are performing the drill with Civil Air Patrol.
According to a note on the Keene Sentinel’s Facebook site, the training is being done “to ensure the Massachusetts Air National Guard is ready to defend the region’s airspace against any threat. ”
