Rodenhiser Promoted to Investigations Bureau Commander

Deputy Rodenhiser will now be responsible for 28 personnel assigned to the Bureau of Investigations.

State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan is proud to announce that Deputy State Fire Marshal Keith Rodenhiser has been promoted to Bureau Commander in charge of the Bureau of Investigations within the Division of Fire Safety Office of the State Fire Marshal.

The promotion became effective on Nov. 28.

Rodenhiser will now be responsible for 28 personnel assigned to the Bureau of Investigations. The Bureau of Investigations includes Fire and Explosion Investigations, Fire and Life Safety Inspections, Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Inspections, Hazardous Materials Coordination, and the Public Education / Database section.

Rodenhiser has been employed by the Division of Fire Safety for the past 14 years and has served the public as both as a Fire Investigator and a District Chief within the Bureau of Investigations and is a graduate of the University of New Haven with Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Arson Investigation and Fire Administration. He is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) with the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) and is a Deputy Fire Chief for the Peterborough Fire and Rescue Department where he has been active member for the past 23 years.

Rodenhiser also has 18 years of experience as a police officer in the State of NH.
