Maine Heroin Bust Largest In State History: Police
Jason Bolduc and Nichole Farrar ran a $2 million heroin ring in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, police said.
PARSONSFIELD, ME — A Parsonsfield man and a Sanford woman have been charged in the largest heroin bust in Maine history, police announced Monday. Jason Bolduc, 39, of Parsonsfield, and Nichole Farrar, 35, of Sanford, were arrested; police said pair ran a huge drug ring in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
Police said they seized more than 8 pounds of heroin and fentanyl worth $1.8 million. It was enough for more than 35,000 individual doses, police said.
“The arrests and seizure have likely saved a number of lives from drug overdoses ... from this poison,” Maine Public Safety Commissioner John Morris said in a statement.

Bolduc and Farrar were arrested January 13 in Sanford following a four-month investigation involving local and federal authorities, police said. The duo rang their drug ring out of Bolduc's home at 27 Franks Place in Parsonsfield. They stored about half the drugs at a Massachusetts location and stored cash, ledger books, and guns at a storage unit in Wakefield, New Hampshire, police said. Agents said they seized $180,354 in cash and more than $100,000 worth of vehicles at Bolduc's residence, including a 2009 Dodge Challenger, 2006 Dodge Charger, 2016 New Holland tractor, two Polaris all-terrain vehicles, a car hauler and a dump trailer.
Bolduc and Farrar were held on $25,000 bail pending arraignments. Police said more arrests are likely.
