UPDATED: School Positions Open For 2012

CORRECTION: The original filing dates posted by SAU #39 were incorrect. The correct filing dates for each set of offices in the school district are Wednesday, Jan. 25 through Friday, Feb. 3 at no later than 5:00 p.m.

Election day is coming up and we should be seeing some new faces mix with the old in the school district.

Souhegan Cooperative School District Offices has a three-year position open for one school board member (Amherst resident). 

The Amherst School Board has a three-year position open for a school board member and another spot open for a two-year position.

Those seeking these positions need to declare their candidacy with Nancy Baker, who can be reached at 673-7659.

In Mont Vernon, there are two three-year school board positions open, as well as positions open for school district clerk, treasurer and moderator.

Those seeking to declare their candidacy in Mont Vernon need to contact Patrick Steenhoek at 672-8077.

Elections for these positions will take place on March 13, 2012.
